Peanut Butter Pudding Cup Surprise

One Sunday night I was in the mood to make the boys a quick and easy yet delicious treat. They ALWAYS are hungry when they get home for some reason. What I came up with really took no thought at all and it was fast and cute. They loved it!

Cool Whip whipped topping is an essential component to everyday desserts! You can see from the time stamps on my photos that this took literally less than 15 minutes to put together.

Pick your flavor and be creative!  There are so many flavors of Jello Pudding available.  I would have loved to been able to layer the chocolate with a something like the cheesecake or butterscotch flavor.

I simply mixed up a batch of Jello Pudding according to the box directions. I used the large box for this because I wanted to make 8 plastic cups.

Next, I filled each cup a little less than half full and placed a mini peanut butter cup in the middle.

Then, I topped it with Cool Whip and LIGHTLY sifted some Nesquik powered chocolate milk mix on top.

For the finishing touches I added a French Vanilla Jet-Puffed Snowman Marshmallow, a mini peanut butter cup and a few red and green sprinkles.

Disclosure: This is a personal post.

Super Simple & Quick Kid Friendly Snacks

Being a single mom of these 2 crazy boys, I am always looking for fast, simple and cheap lunch recipes. I also like to find a way to use up any left overs from the night before. I am usually pretty good at coming up with new things for dinner but sometimes I just run out of ideas or don’t have a lot of time.

Here are a few idea for you.

Tortilla Roll Ups – Spread cream cheese and a couple slices of deli meat onto a flour tortilla… roll it up and eat! I like mine with honey ham. You can eat it like burrito style or slice it up like pinwheels

Vanilla Fruit Salad – Very easy, fill a salad bowl with large squares of fresh fruit. Whatever kind you like or is on sale! Pour a carton of Vanilla Yogurt (it has to be vanilla flavored!) over the fruit for a sauce. That’s it!

Traditional Pudding Pops – Prepare a box of instant pudding just like it says on the box. Pour it into popcycle molds and pop it in the freezer. We like Chocolate best but there are so many kinds of pudding out there, have fun with it! Cheesecake was delicious also!
