This can be made in a regular loaf pan. I used a Wilton 4 cavity mini loaf pan because that is what I own and it is much easier with the boys to slice off smaller pieces for them. I have included baking times for both below. (Click any image to enlarge) if you try it, let me know what you think! ENJOY!

Ingredients:

5-6 really ripe bananas
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, room temp.
1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 cups Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup of chopped Walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 F. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. I used a Wilton mini loaf pan. This took 50 minutes at 300. If you use a regular full loaf pan, bake for 60 minutes. In large bowl, mush peeled bananas with a hand mixer. Add butter, sugar, and eggs. Mix with hand mixer till combined, about a minute. Stir in vanilla.  In separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add this and chocolate chips to wet mixture and fold w/rubber spatula until combined. Divide equally between 2 loaf pans and bake for 1 hour. Step 1: Start with nice Ripe Bananas Step 2: Mush them up really well Step 3: Add Butter and mix Step 4: Add room temperature eggs Step 5: Add Vanilla Step 6: Add Sugar and Mix Step 7: In a seperate bown, combine Flour, Baking Soda and salt Step 8: Pour into banana mixture and mix. Step 9: All Walnuts and mix Banana Nut Bread Step 11: Cool and Eat!
